Technical Conundrum.
Have a look at this :
Whether it's a touch-tone phone or a keypad on a computer keyboard, instinctively you can enter a string of numbers, almost without thinking about it.
Now, I'm asking you to think about it. Look at how the digits are arranged. The top and bottom lines of three digits have been swapped! What's going on? We can't even get the technology guys agreeing with each other.
Did you know you're using a keyboard, specifically designed to slow down the user using it? A qwerty keyboard was so developed to spread out the most-used keys so that typewriters' hammers would not jam up. Enter the dvorak layout, and chances are you haven't heard of "dvorak" before.
Ergonomic keyboards which have no purpose other than assisting people enter data into computers, don't seem to be available in a dvorak flavour. Now that's strange...
Almost as strange as the guy who originally typed with two fingers and demanded (and received [!]) an ergonomic keyboard following a hand-strain injury. True story!
