Another page of Ambigrams.
Ian has experienced hour-plus commutes to and from work for the last twenty years, which has given him time to read, write and come up with ideas. For birthday ideas, he designed logos that incorporated their names. They all incorporate symmetry in some way, with most being classic ambigrams.
Dave's design is another face. Ambigrams can come in the form of "Totems", where reflective vertical symmetry produces the image.
Sue's design is an example of rotational symmetry, based around her preferred nickname, Suze. Glyphs that form the "S" and the "U", combine to become a lower-case "E". The "S" glyph, mirrored, becomes the "Z". All together, it becomes a spiral... and once, a birthday cake too.
Colin's design is a 'pure' ambigram, where rotating the image one-hundred and eighty degrees will restore the same image.
Paul, Steve, and Amanda all proved a little tricky to design but there's (nearly) always a way.
Gerry's design is probably the simplest idea of the lot. Another example of 180-degree rotational symmetry.
